A 31-year-old Sun Prairie man was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon when he crashed his motorcycle into a car that had pulled out in front of him.

The motorcyclist, Andrew Morgan, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries in the crash, which occurred on U.S. 51 and County V in the town of Windsor.

According to the sheriff’s report, Timothy Lewis, 20, of DeForest, pulled into the path of the motorcycle from County V when Morgan was southbound on U.S. 51.

Lewis was taken to a local hospital for a blood draw, to determine if controlled substances may have contributed to the crash, the sheriff’s report said.
