Bloomfield Town chairman Ken Monroe is urging Bloomfield residents to petition the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to address the intersection of Highways 120 and H, near Lake Geneva. The intersection has claimed the lives of three people in the last two years.
In addition to the fatalities, the intersection has been the location of three hit-and-run accidents; 16 property damage-only accidents; and 10 personal injury accidents.
Monroe has said he is willing to help anyone who wants to circulate a petition. Concerned residents can call him at 279-5980 and leave a message.
