The Drinking & Driving Culture In Wisconsin

Posted by PKSD Law Firm on Oct 24, 2008 in Car Accidents

The Journal Sentinel concludes its five part series on the drinking culture in Wisconsin with an examination of U.S. Hwy. 41.  A main transportation artery that stretches from Illinois to the upper peninsula of Michigan claimed 37 lives in drunken driving accidents from 2003-07.

Looking back at the series, its completely shocking. The accidents, the deaths, and the toll they take on family AND the community.  Hopefully, this series has shed some light on the severity of drunk driving and the frequency in which it occurs in Wisconsin.

Take some time to read through the entire series from the drinking culture in Wisconsin to the deadly accidents along Hwy. 41 and ask yourself these questions:

Do drunk drivers in Wisconsin get too many chances? Does something need to be done?
