The NWHA seeks to educate and inspire others with the accomplishments of women. Each year, the NWHA coordinates multiple events – workshops, conferences and more – to further their efforts and recognize today’s women leaders.
This year’s theme is “Providing Healing, Promoting Hope” – a reflection and a tribute to caregivers and frontline workers during the pandemic. Many women, not just doctors, nurses and caregivers, but also clerks, mothers, lawyers and others, have inspired hope and strived to help and ease the suffering of others.
International Women’s Day
Celebrated every year on March 8, International Women’s Day focuses on the social, cultural, economic and political achievements of women around the world. This year’s theme is “Imagine a Gender Equal World.”
