For the past decade, PKSD has been helping people across Milwaukee understand their legal rights through “Case or No Case” – our entertaining yet educational series that puts your legal knowledge to the test. Hosted by Partner Jeff Pitman alongside Fox Focus Host Melanie Ricks, each episode presents real-life injury scenarios and challenges viewers to decide: is it a case… or no case?
To celebrate this incredible 10-year milestone and connect with even more members of our community, we’ve been taking the Case or No Case challenge on the road. Naturally one of our stops had to be Wisconsin’s most beloved summer tradition!!

The Wisconsin State Fair is more than just cream puffs and cheese curds (though we’d never underestimate those!). It’s where our community comes together every August to celebrate everything that makes Wisconsin special. We were absolutely thrilled to be part of the 2025 State Fair, setting up our booth where fairgoers could stop by, test their legal knowledge with the Case or No Case challenge, and learn more about personal injury law in a fun, pressure-free environment. To everyone who visited us between the midway rides and the dairy barn – thank you! Your enthusiasm, tough questions, and friendly conversations reminded us exactly why we love serving this community.

So what exactly is Case or No Case, and why has it resonated with so many people over the last ten years? The concept is simple but powerful. We know that after an accident, many people feel confused about their rights. Should you hire a lawyer? Do you even have a valid case? These are stressful questions when you’re already dealing with injuries and medical bills. That’s why Jeff breaks down real-life scenarios in each episode, explaining the legal gray areas and helping you understand when someone might be entitled to compensation.
Sometimes the answer surprises viewers – and that’s exactly the point! We want you to be informed about your legal rights before you ever need them. Whether you’ve been hurt in a car accident, a slip and fall, or any other incident caused by someone else’s negligence, understanding your options empowers you to make the best decision for your situation. Case or No Case has always been about more than just legal education – it’s about building trust and transparency with our community.
Here’s to the next ten years of helping Milwaukee residents understand their rights, one case at a time!
