Labor Day weekend in Milwaukee means more than just the unofficial end of summer—it’s a time to honor the backbone of our community: hardworking individuals across every industry who keep our city strong. On September 1st, thousands gathered at the Henry Maier Festival Grounds from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for Milwaukee’s annual LaborFest, a celebration of the labor movement and the people who power our local economy.

At PKSD, we are proud to join our neighbors in recognizing the contributions of workers throughout Milwaukee and beyond.
Attorney Sam Killian was on-site at the PKSD table, engaging with festival-goers through our interactive “Case or No Case” wheel. Visitors had the chance to spin the wheel and test their knowledge of personal injury law by deciding whether the hypothetical scenarios we gave them would hold up in court. It’s a fun, educational twist inspired by our popular video series that helps people understand their legal rights. It was a great way to connect with the community while making legal education accessible and engaging.
Founded on principles of advocacy and community support, our firm understands that behind every workplace is a person deserving of safety, respect, and fair treatment. Whether you’re in construction, healthcare, manufacturing, or any other field, your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed.
LaborFest reminds us why we do what we do: standing up for people when they need it most. If you’ve been injured on the job or hurt due to someone else’s negligence, know that experienced legal support is available to help you navigate your rights and recovery.
Happy Labor Day, Milwaukee!
