According to an article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the deceased woman was found near the Parkside Manor Assisted Living and Memory Care facility. The police were called to the scene and reportedly responded at 7:45 a.m. on the morning of Dec. 19.
Police believe that it is likely the woman died due to weather exposure, given that the temperatures were bitterly cold the night before. Kenosha registered a temperature of 9 degrees (low) and 12 degrees (high). However, police say criminal charges could still be a possibility. An investigation is ongoing.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
