PKSD was proud to participate in the 2026 Wisconsin State Fair, an annual event that brings people together from Milwaukee and communities across Wisconsin. This year’s fair ran from Aug. 6 through Aug. 16 at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis.
For 11 days, fairgoers had opportunities to enjoy food, rides, games, live entertainment, agricultural exhibits, and activities for the entire family. The 2026 event welcomed 925,749 visits, continuing a Wisconsin tradition that has brought generations of people together.

The Wisconsin State Fair is an annual celebration of the state’s agriculture, food, entertainment, and communities. Held at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis, the event offers attractions for visitors of all ages.
Agriculture remains an important part of the fair. Thousands of animals are featured throughout the event, along with competitions and educational opportunities. The 2026 fair included dairy and beef cattle, horse events, livestock competitions, and other agricultural programming.
The fair also offers plenty beyond agriculture. Visitors can enjoy rides and games, food vendors, shopping, contests, family activities, and entertainment throughout the grounds. Together, these attractions make the Wisconsin State Fair one of the state’s major annual events.
Highlights From the 2026 Wisconsin State Fair
The 2026 Wisconsin State Fair marked 175 years of “Showing off Wisconsin.” Visitors had 11 days to explore the fairgrounds and experience the attractions, food, and entertainment that have become associated with the event.
Live entertainment was available throughout the fair. Numerous stages hosted performers during the event, while the Main Stage lineup included acts such as Nelly, Bailey Zimmerman, for KING + COUNTRY, The All-American Rejects, Lindsey Stirling, and AJR.
Fairgoers could also visit SpinCity for rides and games or explore the agricultural exhibits throughout the grounds. The fair featured thousands of animals, including dairy and beef cattle, as well as livestock shows and competitions.
Of course, food was another major part of the State Fair experience. From traditional fair favorites to new creations, visitors had plenty of opportunities to enjoy something different while exploring the grounds.
