Now the Health Department is investigating to see if it was a food-born illness. Nearly 500 people attended the event which had items such as dinner rolls, Asian chicken salad, and chocolate cake on the menu.
A romaine lettuce recall just last week has been linked with an E-Coli outbreak in several states, but the health department wont confirm whether the hotel served the same lettuce.

They spent Thursday inspecting the hotel, which is taking extra precautions of its own. Management Country Springs Hotel says they have hired an outside company to steam clean the place from floor to ceiling.
