A nine-year-old boy, Carter Michael Dorwin, died in a car crash this morning in the “Como Flats” section of Highway H in the town of Lake Geneva.
According to Police, Carters mother, Nicole, was taking her two sons to school in a family SUV. Nicole Dorwin told police that she saw another car driving erratically coming toward them.
Thirty-three-year-old Jeremy Dees is under arrest, but is currently recovering from injuries at Froedtert Hospital. Online court records indicate the man has at least three previous arrests for operating while intoxicated.
She went off to the side of the road, but the driver crossed the center line and collided into the drivers side passenger door, where Carter was sitting.
Nicole and her other son Bradley were taken Lakeland Medical Center, treated and released.
