Two semi-truck drivers were ticketed for traffic violations in separate accidents near Madison Wednesday morning.
The first driver, David Jenkins, 55, of Nashville Tenn., was cited for reckless driving and endangering safety after he fell asleep behind the wheel of his semi-truck. The truck overturned and came to a halt in the left lane and median of I-39/90.
The second driver, Michael Jennings, 45, of Gary, Ind., was cited for inattentive driving after his semi trailer left the roadway and rolled over on its side and into the ditch on I-39/90/94 in Columbia County.
