About Adam M. Fitzpatrick

Attorney Adam Fitzpatrick is a board-certified civil practice advocate, experienced trial lawyer, and partner with Pitman, Kalkhoff, Sicula & Dentice. He concentrates his practice in the areas of serious personal injury and nursing home abuse and neglect. Adam has represented clients across Wisconsin in virtually every corner of the State. He brings a unique perspective to his practice having served as an attorney for insurance companies for nearly 10 years. This insight provides him with a rare understanding of what approach the insurance company will use and what they are likely thinking at any given stage of a case.

Adam has successfully tried cases to jury verdict, both as lead counsel and as part of trial teams, his entire career. Adam’s background as a firefighter/paramedic, as well as an anesthesia assistant, gives him a unique knowledge base of medical training and also critical decision making. Clients trust Adam and his team with complex litigation and to leverage the experience he brings to each client’s case.

His trial experience, commitment to professionalism and the rule of law, and deep relationships with his clients has earned him Board Certification in Civil Practice Advocacy from the National Board of Trial Advocacy – which after a rigorous admissions and vetting process is a distinction earned by less than 3% of lawyers nationwide. Adam’s experience has also earned him the honor of serving as a Dane County Court Commissioner.

A native of Western Wisconsin, Adam attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Minnesota Law School where he graduated cum laude and was a member of the Moot Court and Civil Practice Clinic. Immediately following law school and his admission to the Wisconsin Bar, Adam clerked for the Dane County Circuit Court serving Judges Juan Colas, Julie Genovese, and Rhonda Lanford.

Outside of the courtroom, Adam loves to spend time with his big and boisterous group of family and friends, cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers in every endeavor, and motorcycling around the State.
