rious cardiovascular condition after taking a testosterone therapy drug?
Due to a possible link to serious medical conditions and deadly side effects, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommends limited use of such medications and has suggested that drug makers conduct additional studies to learn about possible side effects.

What Our Clients Are Saying
Dangers of Testosterone Therapy
Testosterone therapy is approved by the FDA only for men who have low testosterone levels due to certain medical conditions. This includes disorders of the testicles, pituitary glands or brain structures that can cause hypogonadism a medical condition that results in low testosterone.
However, in the last five years, there has been a significant increase in the use of testosterone therapy treatments among men who have low testosterone levels for no other reason than aging.
A study published in 2013 showed that about 20 percent of men receiving testosterone therapy had never had their testosterone levels checked.
The benefits and safety of this type of use remain unknown, but the FDA has concluded that there is an increased risk for cardiovascular problems. Those risks include:
- Heart attack
- Stroke
- Deep vein thrombosis
- Pulmonary embolism
- Death
To make it clear that these drugs are only to be prescribed and used by men with a medical condition that results in low testosterone, the FDA has issued new label restrictions. The change highlights the increased risk of cardiovascular complications among men who use testosterone therapy for the wrong reasons.
As a result of the manufacturers failure to adequately issue warnings about the potential life-threatening side effects associated with testosterone, you may qualify for compensation.

Aggressive Marketing Campaigns
Pharmaceutical companies have spent millions of dollars marketing testosterone therapy as a solution to common problems associated with aging including decreased sexual desire, depressed moods and erectile dysfunction without proven research to support those claims.
The FDA has stated that manufacturers of these aggressive marketing campaigns did not include appropriate warnings on their products about the severe cardiovascular conditions that can develop after taking testosterone therapy drugs.
As a result, testosterone therapy lawsuits are on the rise among men who have experienced the negative effects of taking this drug.
